PARADE AROUND THE CORNER
All my life there's been a feeling, almost a promise of something magical, an eternal celebration happening just beyond the bordeaux strip of dying sunsets and midnight windows of Tallinn Old Town, somewhere in the foggy fields, and, naturally, the stars. I've always yearned to belong to that otherworldly parade, and yet I've always been a moment late, catching but the last echo of their music, some final rustling of the leaves. Throughout history night has been felt to be the time the spirit world seeps through and opens its curtains to those willing to appreciate it. Thus I roam, gazing at the dim yellow streetlights and slumbering rooftops, hoping for a flying carpet to take me away.
